Hourly Rate: $44.50-$54.50

We are currently hiring a Data Analyst to join our Research & Impact Unit department. Reporting to the Vice President, Research & Impact, the Data Analyst will consolidate Indspire’s various data assets into a unified dataset that supports the development of interactive dashboards (Impact, Research, Data Intelligence). The analyst will ensure data integrity, develop relational structures, and support early-stage visualization prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll be:
- Inventorying and consolidating data sources (BBF, NES, ILP, donor data, etc.).
- Developing data models and relational structures to enable dashboard integration.
- Conducting data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
- Generating summary tables, indicators, and visual mock-ups.
- Supporting the design and testing of dashboard prototypes.
Qualifications
- Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data management and visualization.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and/or Python.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and Indigenous data sovereignty principles.
Expected Deliverables by March 2026
- Harmonized data warehouse linking internal and external datasets.
- Dashboard-ready datasets and schema documentation.
- Prototype mock-ups of the Indspire dashboards.
