Indspire is seeking an IT Manager who will report to the CFO. They will lead, plan, and coordinate IT needs of the organization that also aligns with the organization’s strategic plan. This role will be responsible for supporting the day to day IT related activities of the organizations as well as information systems, networks and assets.

Responsibilities:
• Creating and maintaining an integrated information management strategy that will support Indspire’s Strategic Plan.
• Advising and evaluating organizational and departmental technology needs.
• Selecting and integrating all information systems technology into the overall organizational information management strategy. 
• Developing plans and procedures for proper operation, monitoring, maintenance, and updating of IT and communication infrastructure (physical and virtual) to ensure security, accessibility, performance, and continuance of business operations. 
• Managing all information systems, file sharing and project management (SharePoint, Asana), email system and databases to maintain them in a secure and functional state. 
• Managing all IT assets, licenses, hosted IP telephony service, support, equipment purchases, and user licenses/security roles to ensure availability of equipment and compliance. 
• Working in collaboration with the Database Manager for all fundraising Information systems (Raisers Edge, Crowd Change) to maintain them in a secure and functional state.
• Monitoring and supporting photocopier and printer hardware and related services, phone systems, and electronic security and surveillance systems
• Evaluating and minimizing risk with every modification of the information system’s software, hardware, or services to minimize the possibility of a security breach or data loss, while maintaining ease of use.
• Identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to automate workflows, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency.
• Preserving assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
• Supporting the onboarding/off-boarding of new employees to ensure their IT needs are delivered and met.
• Developing, maintaining, and enforcing IT policies, security measures and best practices.
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation on IT procedures, and end user training docs.
• Ensuring the Network Infrastructure Security is in accordance with industry standards.
• Managing suppliers, vendors, and other partners.
• Responsible for preparing and monitoring an annual budget for the IT department and executing accordingly.

Qualifications:
• College diploma or equivalent in IT, Network Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of IT management experience, including system administration and support.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, automation scripts) to solve business challenges.
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL) are an asset.
• Proficiency in Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Raiser’s Edge, and Asana.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Office 365 Business, SharePoint, Asana, Raiser’s edge and Microsoft Teams).
• Proven experience designing and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions—including Microsoft Copilot—to drive efficiency, elevate productivity, and proactively mitigate operational and security risks.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, remote support tools, and IT ticketing systems.
• Proven hands-on IT operations leader with senior level leadership skills, presence, and communication skills. 
• Broad IT infrastructure and application architecture knowledge. 
• Proficient in the use of Project Management principles, practices, and tools with a track record of delivering projects on time and on budget. 
• Highly collaborative with strong oral and written communication skills and ability to influence others. 
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills. 
• Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and travel between Six Nations and Toronto offices.
